Job Summary
Cognizant is seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, plan, and implement cloud solutions tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable cloud providers, ensuring the cloud network’s responsiveness to user demands, scaling cloud services for growing businesses, and troubleshooting issues. You’ll work closely with business owners and stakeholders to support growth plans and monitor cloud network usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective cloud solutions for clients.
- Monitor and ensure cloud network responsiveness to user demands.
- Scale cloud services to meet growing business needs.
- Troubleshoot cloud network issues.
- Liaise with business owners to understand growth plans and future needs.
- Implement security strategies on cloud networks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Technical Leads, and customers on technical plans and deployments.
- Monitor and support cloud deployments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for system support.
Technical Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Public Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience in integrating network solutions in cloud environments.
- Ability to collaborate on technical implementations, resource sizing, and validation.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment monitoring and troubleshooting.
