Job Description:

Airbus is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to industrial projects focused on Simulation Modelling and Optimization by developing custom software libraries. As part of Airbus India Private Limited, you will be working in a cutting-edge environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Library Development:
    • Evaluate current and future industrial system needs to develop logistic and manufacturing simulation libraries in a Discrete Event Simulation environment.
  • Industrial Systems Design:
    • Use and execute specific processes, methods, and tools for industrial system design.
  • Simulation Modelling:
    • Support Airbus’s industrial flow simulation modelling and address key industrial challenges by developing suitable software libraries.
  • Pilot Case Testing:
    • Test Industrial System Manufacturing Line design through pilot cases in plants and FALs (Final Assembly Lines) in alignment with Airbus’s industrial deployment strategy.

Required Skills:

  • Programming Skills:
    • Proficiency in software programming (preferably Java).
  • Logical Thinking:
    • Ability to think logically to develop solutions and solve complex problems.
  • Software Development and Testing:
    • Hands-on experience in software development, deployment, and testing.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, with an analytical mindset to improve processes.
